Logline into treatment



A man in desperation must deliver a secret package to anonymous clients, his life is suddenly on the line when the delivery gains attention from the wrong people

I have chosen this as my logline but may not be the final idea as the logline may change slightly due to production. This logline creates a good enigma for the film, such as "What is in the package?", "Where is he going?" and "Will he arrive at his destination?"
The audience will discover the answers to theses question as the film progresses.

Beginning
After the opening title sequence ends, the beginning of the film has the protagonist putting his phone away looking worried. He realises that his life could be in danger if he doesn't  get the package back. He calls a contact that could give him information as to who could have taken it. He then gets in his car and speeds to where he has been told it will be.

Middle
We now see the protagonist outside of a warehouse with guards and dogs patrolling the inside. He sneaks round the back and gets in through by shifting an old metal door. He sneaks up on guards and takes them out and scuffles with a couple of henchmen. He goes into a dark office where he sees the envelope on the desk. A knife then appears against his throat as a man emerges from the dark, he is told not to struggle. The protagonist then remembers there is a small handgun is his pocket. He slowly pulls out the gun as not to alert the man with the knife. He then shoots him in the foot and then again in the chest once he has escaped his grip. Running to the desk he grabs the envelope and turns to leave. Men running and shouting can be heard approaching him. He glances out of the window the see a dumpster 2 floors down. Looking at the door he sees a large man with a gun pointed at him. He jumps through the window as the gun is fired. The rubbish breaks his fall as his leg bleeds from being caught by the bullet. He runs as best as he can as he hears the men and dogs chasing after him. After finding a small town he runs into a busy bar to hide and blend in.

End  
He has got back into London and still not knowing the contents of the envelope hands it to the mystery man. As he leaves the building his phone rings, "Handing that package to him was a mistake"
